I'm an experienced, if amateur, drummer who has usually been in a band since my teens. I'm not a virtuoso but am a good intermediate player, who listens and doesn't have the more expansive urges of my earlier playing! More interested in grooves and making great music. I listen to a wide range of music including rock, jazz, folk, world and alt/indie rock.

Influences
Bonham for rock, Glenn Kotche for alt, Gadd for funk and groove, Brian Blade and Nate Smith for just about everything. Musically at the moment I'm listening to Ryan Adams and the Cardinals, Steely Dan, Jackson Browne, The Band, Fairport Convention, Massive Attack, plus playing along to classic Stevie Wonder, Robert Palmer, the Bar-Kays.
