My name is Steve Lodge. I'am a drummer for hire currently based in the Bath/Bristol area. I have been playing for over 10 years now. I'am a huge lover of music and I'am greatful for any oppourtunities to perform/record/tour with like minded talented musicians.
I have performed with Funk Legend Pee Wee Ellis who was James Browns Saxophonist and Musical Director.
I'am currently a member of Acoustic Roots rock band Hip Route. Who have been described as Jack Johnson meets the Red Hot Chili Peppers. We have shared the stage with the likes of Jason Mraz, Newton Faulkner, Them Is Me (ex Reef and Basement Jaxx members), Alabama 3, Two Spot Gobi, and Martin Harley Trio. We have done several tours around the south west as well as gigging all over the U.K. Some of our festival appearances including Gold Coast and Sugar Hill Festivals.
More recently I have been recording and performing with King P. An RnB and Hip-hop producer/session guitarist. I performed at the prestigous British Music Week with King P, Slix (Ruff Squad, Manny Moscow and Tommy D). I have also performed with Neo soul artist Omar and King P at the Urban Music Awards in back November 2009.
I have done some live session recording work at Radio 1's Maida Vale studios in London, with rapper j2k and Manga from Roll deep for Ras Kwame's show.
