I’m a songwriter/guitarist/keyboard player looking for a singer to form an ambitious alt/indie/rock band with.

I’m influenced by a relatively wide range of music, from bits of jazz and classical to electronica, but in terms of songwriting, my principle influences are guitar-based acts like Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, The Smiths, Blur, Sigur Ros and Bob Dylan. I seek to write and record tracks that ally melodically and lyrically compelling songwriting to more experimental sounds and textures.

In early March I went into the studio to record a six of my songs which I link to below. For the purpose of demonstrating the songs, I sang on the recordings, but going forwards I would like to pass the microphone to someone else. A vocalist who also played an instrument and was interested in songwriting themselves would be a bonus as I am open to collaborative creative working, but it is by no means a requirement. More than particular technical musical proficiency I'm interested in working with musicians who share similar inspirations, passions and ambitions to my own.
