I have played in bands since the mid 70s. However, after giving up on mega stardom in the 80s, I had a break for a few years and returned to playing in the mid 2000s. I am currently the bass player in a rock/metal covers band. I am not a stand at the back with the drummer sort of bass player as I like to be at the front with the vocalist, guitarist etc and spark of them. I suppose I was influenced by Pete Way (UFO). I also sport a nice line in stripey trousers!
