I am currently living in Tooting, London and looking to move to Brighton and Hove as a former resident to initially form a guitar and vocals duo. I am recognised as a self-employed musician and before the tier 4 lockdown was earning money busking jazz in Central London. As a duo I would expect to not only play smaller restaurants and to busk on the South Coast and in London also to play care homes introducing pop standards into an act. I currently not only play jazz in a torchlight or cocktail type style also in a reggae format and gypsy format. In time, I would like the duo to become a trio for larger wedding receptions and restaurants. A singer who could play hand percussion could make up the third member. I have been vaccinated for 12 days and have received two negative tests of coniv and after ten more days in the first week March will be free to travel to Brighton and Hove or nearby for mutual audition and practice. I understand some zoom work might be neccessary and I can send by email a sample of my jazz guitar playing. If converting to a trio for some gigs then either myself or you ought to play bass. I am 59 with a wealth of live experience. Notably, I have played with Baluji Shrivistav OBE in the Inner Vision Orchestra a visually impaired orchestra playing a mixture of jazz and world music. I have played for a jazz trio working in restaurants and in innumerable small venues including abroad. If you are interested in a commitment of three or four years at least get in touch. I am also interested in sharing a rented flat in and around Brighton and Hove. I am a young looking 59, my looks decieve my ethnicity I am Anglo Indian and although not needing to lie around in the sun in order to become chameleon I do not mind a bit of practice on the beach or busking and enjoying a half pint or two.
