Vocalist, Bass Guitar.ABOUT
Hi, I'm Stuart, I’m looking for a small Band, or possibly a singer (with acoustic guitar would be good but not essential) to form a double act. I’ve worked in bands and was a double act with my wife in the 60's and 70's. We did the Talk of the North, Talk of the Midlands, Wigan and Leigh Casinos etc etc even played the Cavern in the 60’s. I’m a mature guitarist 65+, with some vocals. In the absence of a “band” I’ve been playing in the lounge with some excellent backing tracks to fill in for keyboards, strings, horns etc.
I have a Les Paul and Marshall amp to work with the tracks, they’re played through Fender Stage 160 watt amp.
Happy to learn songs I don’t know within reason (no 50’s rock’n’roll not really my bag). Why not email me a list of some of your material. I can rehearse once/twice a week, gig wise poss 2 or even 3 times a month.
Not interested in “just for fun”, looking to do some paid gigs, what do you think??
Let me know if you’re interested or not
