***UPDATE, due to us having to sack our old drummer we are in urgent need of a new drummer as we have a gig at a biker festival in 3 weeks time. If you are interested please contact us any time ASAP. We have rehearsal space, your own kit preferd but not essential as we have a budget kit if needs be.*** Hi, our band name is Switch, currently its me (Tony) lead vocals and lead/rhythm guitar and Sarena, vocals and bass. We are a a mix of heavy rock, grunge and metal we also play acoustically. We are looking for a committed drummer and rhythm/lead guitarist who are comfortable with singing and have a good sense of humor aged 18 to 40.We are very committed but don't take ourselves to seriously, its really important to be able to have a laugh. We believe its important for all band members to have an equal say in everything so no body ends up doing something they're uncomfortable with. We write all of our own material but will do a few covers when we start gigging which we want to do asap also want to start recording asap. Iv had around 25 years experience playing in various bands and gigging, an early band of mine has appeared on S4C (welsh channel 4) and have played multiple times on radio.

The early "grunge" stuff is a big influence like nirvana, Tad, Sonic youth, Stone temple pilots, Alice in chains, Sound garden, L7, Babes in toyland, Mudhoney, Green river, Melvins, early Offspring ect ect.. also bands like Jefferson airplain, The doors, dead kennedys, Ramones, Misfits, Faith no more, deftones, Pantera, Korn, Machine head, Mudvyne, early Slipknot, early Foo fighters, early Silverchair, Jack off jill, early Nine inch nails, early Marylin manson, Seether, Fightstar you get the idea.
