Listen to huge amount of stuff from all genres, like playing everything rock/blues/alternative etc, though tend to lean towards stuff with attitude and aggression (and funner to play); lots of drum and bass/ electronica/ aggressive rock/stoner rock etc, i love my metal... some of the heavier stuff, standard influences: METALLICA, Machinehead, Lamb of God, Unearthed, Anthrax, Atreyu, Avenged Sevenhold, Bullet for my valentine, Chimaira, Trivium, Devildriver, SOAD, Drowning pool, fear factory, Gallows, taproot, Funeral for a friend, static x, deftones, bring me the horizon, Godsmack, G 'n R, Throwdown ,QOTSA, them crooked vultures, testament, Hatebreed, smashing pumpkins, In flames, Killswitch engage, 36 crazyfists, Pantera, kreator, wolfmother, muse, Shadow falls, dethclock , Biffy Clyro, slayer, slipknot, volbeat,Reuben, carcass and loads more as well as lots from other less agressive genres (alot of the classics (jeff beck,zepplin, black sabbeth etc), strokes, silversunpick ups etc...)
