The Crates are looking for a drummer!
The Crates are a 1940s/50s Rhythm & Blues band that play music perfect for Swing dancers as well as Lindy Hop, Shag, Balboa and Jive. The band has recently had a line-up change and we are seeking a drummer who has the lightness of styles to suit the music we play and can commit to regular rehearsals and future gigs - there is a fantastic, joyful swing-dance scene out there and we hope to be a part of it! There is footage of the previous line-up playing live (which gives an insight into the style we play) on our IG and FB pages at the.crates.jump.and.shout
