The Meddlers are looking for a dedicated Bass player and a Keys player to complement our existing lineup. We play a wide range of covers across a variety of genres, typically top tracks from the 50’s to today.
You will need excellent playing skills, quality equipment and transport but critically you will need to be committed and available to play regular shows plus rehearsals. Some ability to perform backing vocals would be excellent but not necessarily a requirement. We are a bit spread out over West Sussex but we usually rehearse in Worthing as it’s sort of in the middle for all of us.
Our current lineup (Vocals, Guitar, Drums) has been playing together for over 10 years and we’re in our mid-thirties. Whilst we take pride in being professional and sounding as good as possible, we also don’t take life to seriously and we don’t have inflated egos. All decisions are made together and we’re mostly in it to enjoy playing music that we like, have a good time and make a bit of cash on the side.
