We are the Soul Shebang an 8 piece with a brass section and an amazing female singer.
We say 8 piece but we are currently 7 strong having recently parted company with our backing singer and we are seeking a replacement.
Ideally the perfect candidate would be female. We rehearse on Tuesdays in Leeds.
Obviously it's a specialist sort of skill required and it's not a role many vocalists, who will want to sing lead, would take on. We are though very open to the idea that our new member play an instrument too - keys/guitar/brass/percussion, although that is not a requirement. There is also scope to sing a song or two as lead, help craft the harmonies and shape the set.
As an 8 piece we can't pretend it's lucrative at the moment but we make a great noise and have a great time in the process. If you're interested let me know and I can fill you in with further and better particulars.
