ABOUT

Following on from their recent success on their debut album ‘The Sun Also Rises’ (released in May 2023) The Utopiates are out to prove they are one of the most prolific new bands out there at the minute. They’re back in the studio to make album two and are very excited to release new single "Love Pill" and top off a huge 2023.

The Utopiates signed to V2 last year and were dubbed the band to watch by cult indie promoter This Feeling. A sold-out summer tour followed, and they finished the year completing work on their debut album "The Sun Also Rises" at The Nave in Leeds. Out in May 2023 the 12 track release pushes the boundaries of their unique brand of groove-laden powerhouse indie.

The Utopiates were formed under the dark clouds of the pandemic and only launched in January 2021 but already the accolades are stacking up from the likes of Steve Lamacq (BBC Radio 6 Music) & John Kennedy (Radio X).
