The Brakes are a 5 piece indie rock band from Manchester and have been gigging for the past 2 years, energising audiences with their strong, sometimes hard, melodic guitar driven rock music, with an edge of Mancunian swagger, playing songs that are hard not to sing along to but without compromising their wide range of influences, ranging from early American Blues to Kasabian and beyond.
Unconventional in their dual lead singer/lead guitarist line-up, with a rhythm section greatly improved and strengthened by the recent addition of James and Jamie, guarantees a unique sound and take on the traditional indie rock band. A night with The Brakes is a night not forgotten.

EQUIPMENT
2 x Marshall 100 watt guitar amps, 1 x Crate 120 watt guitar amp, 1 x 450 watt Marshall Bass Amp with 4 x 10 Cab, PA system with two speakers, basic drum kit with 14" Sabian Solar Hi Hats. All equipment is left at our rehearsal room.
