Hi, we’re a bassist and guitarist looking for a DRUMMER to form a new band, with new material. We’ve been playing together in another band for a couple of years (that was fast post punk with political lyrics and complex arrangements) but people had to leave for jobs and things like that. We are into a pretty big range of stuff but are both into Fugazi, Shellac, Minutemen, Captain Beefheart, as well as the more interesting folk and indie stuff, though we don’t really agree between us what that interesting stuff is. We’ve been jamming a few things and it’s a bit angular, syncopated rhythms, odd song structures, catchy-but-edgy sort of thing. We have cheap rehearsal space in town centre with storage space.
