The Decibels are a new 5 piece funtion band based in Bridgwater, Somerset. Currently made up of Drums, Bass, Keys and Guitar + Male Vocal. We aim to play higher end gigs such as weddings, college/uni proms, exhibtions and corporate etc.
We are searching for a lead female vocalist to increase the range of our repertoire and add bv's (including harmonies) to the male songs. The set includes classic covers from 50's to date including: ABBA, Madonna, Shania Twain, Aretha Franklin, No Doubt, KT Tunstall, Katy Perry and many female and male performers.
Candidates should therefore be able to adapt to rock, pop, blues and big band styles. Candidates should also: have own equipment, own transport, be willing to travel a fair distance and be willing to sign to contracts / agreements for agencies and clients.
We are keen to hold auditions ASAP as we already have a studio booked to record our demo and just need to the find the final member to finish a photoshoot and put our website up.
