We are THE DIAMONDS - a 60s Rock'n'Roll band who have performed for the last 25 years (at least), with one or two breaks in between! Wofee're all passionate about authentic 60s music; everything is live, what you see is what you get. We have always played as a 5-piece (Bass, Lead, Rhythm, Keys, Drums) but also as a 4-piece (no keys) for the last 18 months. Unfortunately our lead player has had to leave us (amicably!) so we're a little stuck now!
That means we are on the look-out for like-minded musicians with a passion for the good times of the Swingin' Sixties. We are absolutely professional in our work, but we are way more about the music, the good times, and the memories.
Currently have an immediate vacancy for lead guitarist - vocals would be a bonus but not important.

Influences
What 60s band is worth anything if they're not at least partly influenced by Elvis, The Beatles, The Hollies, Neil Sedaka, Joe Brown, Cliff Richard, The Shadows etc.
We love a good harmony, so that's a big part of what we do - but don't worry if vocals isn't your thing - there's NO pressure at all.

EQUIPMENT
Our only ask is that you have your own instrument and amp. We will provide everything else you need.
We run a fully digital 24 channel PA, all powered, individual monitor mixes - we are IEM friendly if that's your choice.
Frontline Vox made up of 4 wireless channels of SM58 Beta - other options may be available if you wished.
Backline is the usual suspects, VOX AC30 / AC15, Fender, etc. Instruments - Strats, Teles, Gibsons, Ricks, Hofner Bass etc.
