we’re forming a Punk Blues band; it will be an original and collaborative effort. No prima donnas and egos kept in check! No lead guitarists, band leaders or lead singers. Just a band.
Whilst we aim to play “Punk Blues” we’re not exactly sure what that means! Our sound/style will be the result of our collaboration.
But think a more British version of The Black Keys, The White Stripes, The Detroit Cobras, PJ Harvey, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, MC5, Holly Golightly
Also probably important to note that we will be/are amateurs yet not amateurish - ie we will love what we do; do it with professionalism - but not get paid!
