The Hotplates are a brand new jazz outfit based in South East London with big plans for 2016. Looking for talented and committed musicians who love swing, bebop, funk and more. You don't need to be pro standard, but you do need to have great rhythm, swing and be able to improvise to a decent standard.
Most importantly, you must have good ears and be able to play with and around the band, and not have an ego. We're looking to have a lot of fun, practice weekly, reach a great standard and rock crowds on a regular basis.
