ABOUT

Drumming professionally for over ten years, I am an experienced Musical Director (MD) and Live/Studio Drummer, recently I have been touring with UK Modern Sky-signed artist, Jack Valero, son of Folk-legend Billy Bragg, as well as hard-hitting Indie-Rock newcomers, PUMA THEORY. Based in the Sussex area, I work mainly from my recording studio, co-owned with Liam Kearley (Vower, Black Peaks, Interlaker). Priding myself on my versatility and eclectic style, I’ve worked with artists spanning multiple genres, notably (but not limited to) Pop, Rock, Neo-Soul/ R&B and Jazz.

Latest achievements include live performances at Glastonbury 2023/24 (Greenpeace stage, Avalon Cafè, The Hive & The Wishing Well). Sold-out UK & EU tours supporting #1 Chart-toppers The Lottery Winners and Sunderland’s one-to-watch Tom A. Smith with Jack Valero. And supporting Billy Bragg on his Hope Not Hate Tour in April this year.

Influences

My drumming influences stem from a range of different genres. Most notably, Stewart Copeland, John Bonham, Taylor Hawkins and Steve Gadd.

Bandwise, I take great inspiration from the Indie rock and heavy rock scene with bands like Fontains DC, The Amazons, Wunder Horse & Deftones. And from within the new wave Jazz/R&B bands such as: Ezra Collective, Mansur Brown, Black Pumas & Hiatus Kaiyote.
