ABOUT

I’m a young 40 something year old. I have a young family. I have played in bands in South Africa, States and the UK. I have toured SA with a successful indie group, recorded albums, had air play, played festivals etc. In the UK I have been in a group which played all over London, the O2, resident at the Cafe de Paris etc, We played in Germany and Italy. I have recorded 4 albums in the UK. I have also created a solo electronic dance album some time ago . I am not bad at backing vocals and harmonies. I play didjiridoo, djembes and other tribal instruments. I play a 5 string active bass and have played fretless in the past

My musical interests span wide and far. I have played in Indie bands, rock bands, world music bands and dance/trance bands.
I love Beatles, Blossoms, ACDC, Radiohead, Coldplay, White Lies, Muse, Queen, Doves, Crowded House, Counting Crows, Nick Cave, Royksopp, Iron Maiden, blues, world music electronic music the list goes on. I love writing hooks and melodies. I am a song writer too.
