The Yums are a mellow alternative acoustic band, melting people where ever they play, with joe's slippery fingers oozing experience like he's been here before, and lisa's voice that smoothes and scratches that itch for you beautifully. Their influences are blues and rock....in their spare time they are looking for a percussionist/acoustic drummer eventually to add to the yoghurty tongue spanking set to recreate the recordings being done in the back of a disused warehouse on the docks
they generally gig one or twos times a week, mainly norwich but also now playing cambridge and london, as well as future radio and bbc radio norfolk appearences, and we've also played Eastern Haze Acoustic Stage last year, supporting the levellers....altho we didn't see them...lol
