ABOUT

My Profile:
Looking for interesting projects.
I am a Lead Guitarist and qualified recording engineer with a 1st class Honours Degree in Audio and Music Technology. I play many styles but my main strength is as a rock lead guitarist.
I am looking for quality originals projects, although I play regularly in covers/party/wedding bands, which is fun, but the main reason for this profile is to find creative music projects.

EQUIPMENT

A Gibson les Paul Gold Top Deluxe has been my main instrument over the years, but these days I use an Ibanez most of the time, as it doesn't break my back. I modified this guitar by transplanting the electronics of a Variax into it, so I can do altered and drop tunings and acoustics etc.
Recently acquired a Kemper and profiled my Fender Twin Reverbs. I also have a 130Watt Bugerra head and a 4 x 12 cab for a more traditional rock setup, but the Kemper gives me all these and virtually any other amp for whatever is needed.
I use GT10 for live work, as this lets me get most sounds, and control volume or switch between sounds very easily, and combined with the Kemper I can get pretty much any sound.
I also use custom ACS in ear monitors with built in mics.
