I am 50 years old and have just returned to playing music after a 15 year break (family and work commitments) I played in several bands when younger mostly doing rock/alternative/indie music always original no covers. My playing is ok but limited(I'm no virtuoso) I like to use classic piano/fender rhodes/Hammond organ sound with addition of analogue synth. I like to do original material (although I love blues so am happy covering songs in that style) I'm returning to playing as a hobby to get together with like minded people to write and play maybe do a few gigs

Influences
Wide ranging.. I learnt playing blues piano so love everything blues from son house to rory Gallagher. Love great songwriters favourites being Dylan, Cohen,Cash, Tom Waits, Nick Cave. Bands i like are so wide ranging it's hard to list but range through prog/psychadelic rock, punk/new wave, alternative, indie, country, electronic/Berlin school. Bit of everything but generally a bit left field.

EQUIPMENT
Usually play with Nord electro for all the authentic acoustic piano/electric piano/organ sounds.
Plus 1 analogue synth for classic synth sounds/textures/weird noises.. at moment I'm using Berhinger Deepmind 12.
