Been playing and still play with a function band - Mad Dog and the Sophisticats - main genre Jazz and Swing concentrating on entertainment through music. Have worked on guitar, banjo and bass guitar with this band. Most comfortable in these genres with some lead and harmony vocals. I also have a passion for close harmony acappella in up to five parts. I can write arrangements for bands or vocal groups or individual artists as required.

Influences
The great entertainers of the jazz and swing era but any great writing appeals from any era. I grew up with the Beatles as a dominant early influence. I like good, harmonically imaginative music.
