ABOUT

Established Mixed sex Alternative originals band seeking capable ideally female guitarist. Will consider other instruments but we’re covered for bass and drums. Age etc irrelevant. Based out of Boston Lincs (with members from Lincoln and Kings Lynn who could possibly offer lifts) we practice weekly and gig about twice a month, and you would need to be able to commit to this. We could possibly alternate practice location for further afield people. You’ll need a sense of humour, and be cool with playing your way up from the toilet scene without covering your petrol or kebabs for a while. We are Ages 18 (two members) through to bus pass. We have streaming content, full access to a practice and recording studio and numerous gig’s booked. We share songwriting credits and kebabs. Influences: Ohsees, Cleopatrick, Cramps, Sleaford Mods, Fall, Joy Division, PJ Harvey, 60’s and 70’s punk, Motown via fuzz pedal. We all like cats

Our influences are Ty Segall, Messer Chups, Pixies, Joy Division, surf, 60’s garage punk, Husker Du, ‘77 punk, Cardiacs, early Cramps, and pre conviction Rolf Harris. We sometimes think there’s a proto dark folk thing in the background. And some buried pop.
