I am a professional trumpeter and brass musician based in Thornton, West Yorks. I play jazz to a high standard plus I like to play lead trumpet. I'm often performing in big bands, function groups, pop bands and even brass bands. I was a member of the Royal Artillery Band in the army for 5 years and even learnt double bass to a moderate standard whilst there.

Influences
Jazz is a massive influence for me and I especially enjoy Chet Baker, Jack Sheldon, Pepper Adams, Bill Evans, Brecker Bros, Tom Harrell, Canonball Adderley and more.
Other more recent influences for me are British jazzers like Percy Pursglove, Malcolm Edmonstone, Martin Shaw, Robbie Robson, Martin Hathaway et al.
