I'm a forty-something bassist, rhythm guitarist, & Backing Vocalist looking to get into a Wedding/Function Band but couldn't resist an Indie, Blues Rock, or Southern Rock opportunity either.
I have played Bass, Lead and Acoustic Guitar in other bands and have performed gigs as an Acoustic Guitarist and as a Lead Singer, so I am capable of giving the Lead Singer a break for a couple of songs if needed. (my throat doesn't have the endurance to be a Lead Singer)
A gig every second week would suit me best (family commitments etc.), with as much practice as needed until we get things sounding perfect.
