Hi! Are there any musicians / artists out there who don't want to sound like their favourite band or are you all asleep?
I played (and taught) drums / percussion professionally and was the singer in a noise rock band based in Hamburg / Berlin (Germany) for 15 years, but gave up that career in 2006 for art and filmmaking.
However, I am now looking again for musicians who are willing to think outside the box and create something original. Tribute Bands.......Stay away!

Influences
Too many influences to list here.....but here are a few...
Sonic Youth, Captain Beefheart, John Coltrane, Jimi Hendrix, Giacinto Scelsi, John Cage, The Velvet Underground, The Fall, The Jesus Lizard, the late Scott Walker and Talk Talk albums...There are a number of more recent Post Punk / Art Rock bands that I find interesting such as Protomartyr and others.
