I'm interested in forming a band to play a selection of covers depicting the sh*tty, unfair world we're living in today. My aim is to sing about politics and use a set of classic songs with a conscience to inspire people to keep fighting for what they believe in.
I want to get a left-wing band together and play inspirational gigs to the converted at places like Tolpuddle Festival, Durham Miners gala, protest rallies,trade union gatherings as well as local gigs. Through my work I've got the contacts to make the gigs happen, all I need now is some like minded musicians who want to have a good time whilst giving energy and fun to those fighting for a just society.
Also have access to excellent free rehearsal room close to Barnsley town centre where gear can be left set up securely if we wish.tonypeterwright . Com

Influences
The Jam, The Clash, Redskins, SLF, TRB, Billy Bragg, Manics- ya get where I'm coming from comrades!? I was in quite a few bands in the 80s/90's, now my lads are growing up, fancy getting back into it.
