ABOUT

I have been playing drums since the age of 9 and am looking to start a new project within a band, I am a ambitious and passionate drummer and love to use my skills in design and video into any project I take part in. In my last band project (Parasol) I had a big influence in the visual direction of the band all while playing and recording with the band. Safe to say when I get involved within a band/project I am passionate about I put above and beyond commitment into it.

If I was to chose my preferred style of band to be in I would love to be in a band that ties its lyrical and musical inspiration from bands such as Arctic Monkeys or The Strokes. My previous band (Parasol) took inspiration from artist such as Sam Fender and Catfish and the Bottlemen.

My biggest influence in my drumming style is Matt Helders of the Arctic Monkeys I love to really have fun and experiment with the high-hat in based melody's but of course I am always happy to slow it down for slower ballads (gives me a rest too). If I had to pick a favourite song for me to play it would be 'The View From The Afternoon' from the album 'Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not', in fact that entire album is just a blast to play from start to finish.

I have attached the a live recording and a demo from my previous project (Parasol) and have videos attached from my own personal drum cover videos, the link below will also take you to my design portfolio to see what styles I can add to a possible band.

Be sure to message if my visions align with yours, I can't wait to be making and playing new music again!
