With the exception of Lightening Strikes, the rest are done on first take. This gives a better idea of how I sound live - croaks, squeaks, forgotten words and all. The second song on my little list, Kiddio by Brook Benton, EMI offered me a record contract based on a audition/session at Brixton Academy. I didn't take it further because I thought I was doing well in business... Sometimes things don't work out as we think they will right? :-) I still have no idea WTF is going on or who the fck I am. My will says that II want written on my tombstone "None the bleedn' wiser". I think I might have to change that to "love is all that really matters" whatever that means... still discovering that.
