Hey I am starting a band, The sound of the band will have a mixture of inspirations, such as Psychedelic Rock of the mid 60’s/70’s, Blues Rock, Funk Rock, Glam Rock, Art Rock and Hard Rock.
For example if you can imagine a mixture of the following bands: The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Prince, Kate Bush, Queen, Aerosmith, Rick James, T Rex, George Clinton, Parliament & Funkadelic.
Myself, I’m 21 years old, I am the vocalist and carry an androgynous image and wish to showcase this gender ambiguity, as well as overt sexuality. There is also a guitarist and bass player already in the band, the guitarist is 19 years old, the bass player 21. We are all more or less beginners, with no real experience but have the aspirations, commitment and dedication to go as far as we possibly can with this.
Since we are looking for a keyboard player, ideally some Ray Manzarek-esque playing would be good.
