Hi, my band War Elephant are currently on the look out for a new drummer for writing & playing live (London based would be preferable).
We play a mix of prog/rock/metal/grunge/doom but also have influences from the jazz, dance and folk world (we used to be an acoustic band). Imagine a love child of Rush, Tool and Soundgarden and that's us (we've been told!).
Check out our website and or YouTube link for a taste of what we do. Myself and the singer are based in London so would prefer someone local but it's not a deal breaker.
We're both in our early 30's and are looking for someone who has great feel, loves jamming and playing in odd time signatures but also loves rocking out.
If you like what you hear get in touch! We're currently writing a new EP and would love the start jamming the new ideas with someone and start booking some gigs.
