I am a singer and guitarist, mainly playing cover songs but I also love writing and recording my own music. I have years of experience playing in bands and acoustic acts, and I’m passionate about music, having managed many live events.

With an eclectic music collection, I love guitar based music, acoustic, alternative, indie, 60s, mod, electronic, basically anything that's interesting, edgy and occasionally a little dark.

I’m currently playing in an acoustic duo called Versonar (www.versonar) with Matt Williams. We play mainly 90s indie cover songs, but love to add the occasional Cream or Jimi Hendrix song. We play both acoustically and with backing tracks recorded in the studio, to give a more professional sound. We have a fairly laid back vibe, and are always keen to perform at functions, music evenings, weddings, garden parties, events or special occasions.

As Versonar we love running live music events, with Matt having unrivalled knowledge as a professional sound engineer, and myself experience booking bands and running live shows. We have a full PA system with lighting, and often play a DJ set after a gig. Matt currently runs his own recording studio (www.adventuresinaudio.co.uk), so we can also help with studio recordings.

I’m always interested to collaborate with other musicians, with ideal partnerships being other guitarists, vocalists or synth players who can add interesting ambient background sounds or vocal harmonies to compliment my own guitar playing and vocals. I enjoy covers when they're done in a unique and unusual way (for example Newton Faulkner's cover of Teardrop by Massive Attack).
