I am a Drummer. I have been playing for some time now. I would like to join or form a group of like minded individuals that want to play good music and primarily have fun celebrating said music.

To put it as honestly and simply as I can; I am not a Professional musician, I play music for fun. That doesnt mean i can't be commited. I have the experience and the time to dedicate.

At the moment I primarily play Jazz, Funk, Gospel and Jazz Fusion. That doesn't mean I cannot / won't play other styles, those are just my chosen Genres.

The music I have recorded is my playing to some drumless tracks to give you an idea of the way I play, all of the tracks I did in one take and have some mistakes in (i believe the term is quick and dirty), please bear in mind this is not representative of the quality when recording, as will do things like over dubbing.

Please note I do not use aucoustic drums anymore, as electronic drums have reached the level of fidelity whereby they now sound identical to the real thing. Now imagine being able to play a gig in the smallest venue / practice room and being able to mix all the instruments so the vocal / music was perfectly in balance without being overwhleming? what about accurate recordings on the fly?. These are just some of the reasons i have transitioned to an electronic kit.

Influences

Too many to list. I'd like to think i have my own style, I have been influenced by all styles of music. There is not a single style of music I will not listen to and appreciate.
