ABOUT

I started playing bass over 20 years ago, playing in various bands in my late teen and 20's. For the last 15 years or so, I've mostly been playing acoustic and electric guitar, but mostly just learn songs to play on my own. Throughout that time, I've had a constant feeling of wanting to get back into playing music properly with (and to) other people - so I'm not on the lookout for fellow local musicians with similar tastes to play with.

Influences

I love all sorts of music and always find it hard to pin down an exact genre I'd like to focus on - but when it comes to guitar, I mostly find myself playing Jeff Buckley, Nick Drake, Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin etc. Just whatever song I fancy learning at the time. I play a telecaster, and right now I'm particularly in love with the raw, bluesy/jazzy feel of Jeff Buckley Live at Siné.
