Very interested to meet anyone who likes Funkadelic, Rick James, Chic, as well as Brad Paisley, Waylon Jennings and others. Mainly I have played heavy rock and can shred with the best of them, originally influenced by Deep Purple, Rainbow, Led Zep, Uriah Heep, Wishbone Ash, Steve Hillage etc, but am keen to form a funk band for gigs. There are no funk bands in Somerset - that I am aware of. Alternatively, a country and western band would also work.
