I have been in bands since my early teens - over 15 years now...I began my life in bands as a drummer, which was my primary instrument until I was 21. I contributed backing vocals as well to the bands I was in. I then (almost like Phil Collins, although less twattishly) ended up stepping forward to be lead singer in my next band - the Reverend Coyote. We were together for about seven years until we split last year due to an inability to nail down a reliable bass player. We're still really good friends and are now enjoying doing quite different projects. I am writing, singing and playing piano in a duo with another friend of mine (we're a bit kind of Turin Brakes/Neil Finn-esque) Which is very nice and all that but I miss the sheer volume of the full, plugged-in band and am ready to have a go again if I can find the right bunch of comrades.
