Hey Guys...
I'm Wils. I know that I'm supposed to write a ton of things about myself here to attempt to impress you and make you want to work with me so without name-dropping or boring you here's a little info.........
I've been playing guitar, mostly lead for over 30 years now.
At age 19 I won a scholarship to study at The Guitar Institute, West London for a year but I didn't like how they churned out session players who were clones of each other so I left after 3 months, worked with a few acts, and ended up doing sessions anyway.
I love it all, from jamming in a small blues bar to studio work to touring all over the world.
I also have my own creative agency, Glen Wilson Creative and when not working in music I freelance as a Creative Director for some big names...
Just ask me what you want as that's simpler.
I do have a few really old tracks on .wilsonpure however they are mostly 20 or so years old and my playing has changed a little but it gives a rough idea I guess!!!

I'm mostly a blues/rock guy so the obvious influences from Hendrix, Page, Rory Gallagher to BB King, Albert Collins, etc...
I also love Joe Pass, Tommy Emmanuel, and most of the geniuses that blow my mind.
