Tasteful guitarist needed for gigging New York rock band now based in LONDON.
We are in mid EP release and have been receiving great reviews from the likes of CLASH and FAME magazine as well as charting globally on Radio Indie Alliance. We have worked with the same folks that have worked with the likes of The Rolling Stones, The Who, New Order and more to make our upcoming EP and we are so proud of it. We have plans to tour the EP following its release later this year and this is a pivotal and exciting time to join us.
Our beloved lead guitarist is also a singer and frontman and has been recruited to lead a major international established band on a world tour following the departure of their lead singer. We are very excited for him but as such we will need a new player to fill his shoes. And its a tall order
Our sound is often described as New Wave/Proto-punk and we are often compared to CBGB era acts like Blondie and Patti Smith. We are not into big solos. More a Pete Townshend approach not Van Halen. We are looking for a thoughtful player. And a strong performer. You would be creative and have similar influences to our existing lineups (Lou Reed, The Who, The New York Dolls, Joy Division etc )
