ABOUT

ZAVO is a BRAND NEW 6 piece a capella group forming in Bournemouth to take on and create contemporary and jazz interpretations (reimaginations) of both new and old classics for public performance both on stage and my favourite flash-mobs.

Influences include Take 6, The Hi-Lo's, Pentatonix, Vive!, Exit 245, Swingle Singers and Accent to name a few.

Influencing arrangers include Kirby Shaw, Deke Sharon, Alex L'Estrange and Mark Kibble.

From Bass, Baritone or Beatbox to soaring Soprano, ZAVO could be the outlet for your creativity.

Experience of live singing, collaborative arrangement and transcription an advantage but if you've got great tone, timing, a superb ear and a bit of a vocal gymnast, we'd love to hear from you and talk ideas!

Why "ZAVO"?

A "Zavo" is the term for a vocalist with a vocal range that extends beyond traditional vocal sections, through the use of falsetto predominantly. That and it's just an awesome word.
