Professional and session musician looking for opportunities to play with people.
Experienced drummer, guitarist and singer, also bassist and ukelele, and have played some keys and synth in a live setting.
Drumming I’ve played in rock and metal bands, more recently in an 80s trib band, high level stuff playing to a click track. Guitar I’ve mainly played rock and blues in bands but also do a lot of finger-picking acoustic stuff solo.
I also write and produce music as a singer-songwriter. I have gigged and recorded both solo and ensemble.
I have a strong ear and pick
up music very quickly, I’m a bit of a parrot in that regard. I love a good jam.
My interest is in challenging myself and pushing my boundaries by working with people at a high level of proficiency and professionalism. For this reason it is a must that I make some money out of it, even if only a little on top of what covers transport etc. I am comfortable playing in a wide range of musical styles and can pick up new music very quickly. I listen to a very broad range of music although my partner (who is a little older than me) has been taking me on quite the Pink Floyd/Roger Waters/David Bowie/Björk/Kate Bush odyssey of late.
